The Path to Healing Isn't Academic—It’s Personal.
Growing up, my life was defined by momentum. I was always on the move—whether I was out on the football field, on the basketball court, or working on my swing on the golf course. Even today, nothing grounds me quite like getting outside or heading "up north" to disconnect and recharge.
But for a long time, while everything looked competitive and capable on the outside, there was a completely different battle going on inside.
Beneath the surface, I struggled deeply with a sense of identity, trying to figure out who I truly was while navigating the heavy, paralyzing weight of anxiety and depression. I know what it feels like to have an internal storm raging while trying to maintain a normal exterior.
That lived experience is exactly why I became a therapist. I didn't enter this field to lecture people from a textbook; I entered it because I know what it's like to be in the thick of the struggle.
My goal is simple: to ensure you feel genuinely heard, seen, and understood. The internal conflicts we face can feel overwhelming, but they are not permanent. By combining deep self-understanding with practical, real-world tools, we can face the root issues together. If I could navigate my way through that darkness to find solid ground, I know you can too. It can—and will—get much better.
